It’s a well known problem of the iPhone’s GPS receiver, in order to resolve this problem please try the following:

  • Be sure you are outside, iPhone’s GPS won’t work into a tunner or a parking.
  • If you are into your car, the best place for your iPhone is below the windshield, on the dashboard or locked to a support.
  • In iPhone’s Settings try to disable the GPS localization service and then re-enable it after a few seconds.
  • If the problem is still there try to rebbot your iPhone.

Sure. Just go into the settings and from the section named “Metric system” select “Metric” for kilometers and “Imperial” for miles.

After importing some Points of Interest, I sometimes see a question mark instead of the speed limit value: what does this mean?
You have imported some POIs that don’t have the information about the speed limit, so Autovelox S4 can’t tell you if you are in danger and it shows a question mark. It these situation try to reduce the speed of your vehicle as much as you can.

I tried to import some POIs but i can’t connect to the server at http://192.168.1.158:8080
The address http://192.168.1.158:8080 is an example. The import procedure does not use any server, it just connects your PC with your iPhone. The address you have to use is showed on the screen of your iPhone after you pressed the green button.
